A University of Massachusetts survey of Asian Americans found that 80 percent paid attention to immigration issues. 58 percent said they were sympathetic to Latinos’ position on immigration and 52 percent supported a path to citizenship for illegal immigrants.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid told the Detroit Free Press, “I don’t expect much of a fight at all” on immigration. Reid said that the issue would not require lengthy debate, and that having more Democrats would help.

In Colorado, authorities are looking for 1,300 illegal immigrants who allegedly used stolen social security numbers to file fraudulent tax returns.
